CCC and TAR members visit Changan Elementary School to educate students on climate change
Last week (11/28), members from both Climate Change Club and Teach and Reach joined together to make a cohesive lesson on climate change to present to students of Changan Elementary School. The lesson entailed familiarizing the students with vocabulary pertaining to climate change, such as concepts like energy storage, deforestation, and renewable energy.

Members continued to interact with the students through the creation of their "holy tree". The students were given one paper leaf to write a loving letter of appreciation to the planet. The leaves were then used to create a beautiful tree consisting of all the students caring messages.
CCC members had a great time collaborating with TAR and teaching the elementary school students about the importance of combating climate change. We hope to continue raising awareness of climate change to students like these, so future generations are able to make green sustainable choices.
